Has anyone seen anything significant in the aftermarket for the DX yet ? I.e. luggage, crash protection etc. I’ve looked at most of the usual sources for ADV stuff here in the US, pretty much nothing so far at least…

It’s very early days for accessories here in the uk also unless you buy the official Ducati stuff available if your prepared to wait for back order supplies, but I think 2023 you’ll see me accessories available from suppliers 👍

Welcome to the forum.
Are you planning to get any other accessories and/or modifications?
From Unit Garage? I may buy the top box eventually but I'm waiting to see how I use the bike a bit longer. Right now I use a Giant Loop tail bag for tools and a few misc items, and I have a Coyote bag I intend to use for longer trips. Now that I'm outfitted with the factor crash bars, bark busters, and have a GPS mount I don't feel the bike needs much else, aside from having the heated grips I have sitting in the garage installed at some point.

Gorgeous bike @gkostolny congratulations! Did you install everything yourself? What do you think of the bike overall so far?

Thank you! So far overall I love the bike. My complaints with the bike itself are 1) at my height (5'10") the buffeting over 70mph if there's any sort of side wind is absolutely awful, especially if I'm wearing my Arai XD-4 instead of a street helmet and 2) after installing the crash bars and bark busters there is a lot more vibration. The crash bars specifically seem to cause the bike to vibrate much more in the 3800-4000rpm range which was previously a good cruising sweet spot, and you feel a much harsher vibration specifically in the foot pegs as a result.

I did install everything myself. The remaining item I have yet to install is the heated grips, but since you have to remove the tank to access the wiring and the dealer has to enable them in the bike software I'm leaning toward just letting them do the whole install rather than bothering with DIY.

You're not the only one that's had issues with the buffeting. Have you looked at changing the windscreen?

Hi all,

Hepko&Becker now offer Crash Bars and a Tank guard in black or white.
The tank guard seem to be a little smaller and not so overhanging —- and ist pretty cheaper than the org. from Ducati.

Maybe….
Regards from switzerland
