Per the OP's question, I agree. I think it offers alot. Most of all, I really good price point. And even at that price point it comes great electronics package, light weight, narrow. Just a really good middle weight capable of doing anything.
I demo'ed one quite a bit and it is really a good handling bike. I came close to buying one but I opted for the DX based on the classic Cagiva look and the V-Twin motor. It was VERY close though.
