Hello everyone
Got my Carpe Iter installed yesterday night (partially installed for the test, still have to go with wiring and “Terrain Command Gen2” handlebar controls installation). The device is amazing, but to be frank when I started to ride, I started to have a lot of vibration on bumpy roads and when I was pushing the bike to rev limits. I’m sure when I’ll do an off-road test, I’ll not see a damn thing on it because of the enormous vibration.
I had it installed on Ducati GPS mount (Accessory bar Ducati Desert X 96681291AA), in addition with Donner Tech (DT) GPS Bracket (slim basic) + DT adapter plate for Carpe Iter and 4 AMPS Bases. I did this due to the reason that the WRS Caponord windscreen is to close to the Carpe key lock and I don’t have an access to unlock it and remove the Carpe whenever I need without removing the windscreen.
Anyone facing vibration issues with Carpe Iter installed on the bike?
And maybe someone have a suggestion or someone tested on a different 11mm GPS clamp😕?
