that's minimal protection:

useful onroads?
I have it. I hate crashbars. It is perfect to protect Tank and also to protect Water pump.

I do like the look of this, however I have seen "buttons" bend and ultimately stuff gets damaged. With riding off road you need a bigger area of protection as to protect cases and the like. If you are not going off road, well then these might be ok. But.... I don't like how they will bend easily.. Just saying....

Thanks for sharing. Not finally sure which is a minimal proper protection to choose. for off-road there is probably no other way to use crashbars but for more back-(on-)road orientated riding the bobbins seem to be sufficient.

I'm waiting on the ducati crash bars to be in stock and using their engine guard aswel, bark buster hand guards , adventure spec luggage racks and gb racing casing covers when they avaliable to purchase, also looking for a proper rear lower sprocket chain guide and a AS3 upper chain guard ,headlight guard and radiator guard and a pyramid plastics front fender extender, that my list for protecting my bike for off road riding, don't like the idea of the evotech crash sliders as if you drop bike on your leg they going to do some decent damage to you and can dig in the ground and flip the bike over and damage the frame, seen it happen on plenty of sports bikes when they hit the tarmac over the years
