Has anyone tried to install a center stand on your Rally? The dealer sold me the stock center stand and it most certainly cannot fit because it appears the left mounting bracket is missing? Is that mounting point part of the standard Desert X foot peg mount? I'm thinking (hoping) I can install a bracket or a different foot peg from a standard Desert X............thoughts??

My neighbour has a Rally and I have the regular X. He wanted the centre stand, and, like you, didn't realize it wouldn't fit. Neither did the dealer (who actually ordered him one). So we have done some comparisons on our bikes to see what would need to happen.
You could probably fit the regular desert X brackets that have the provision for the centre stand, however the side stand, and side stand bracket is different on the Rally (angle and length) to deal with the greater height. Therefore swapping the X parts to the Rally will probably have the bike leaning too much, so at the very least you'd also need a longer side stand. The center stand is also likely going to be too short.

They don't have anything for the rally either. The problem is that the Rally has a different bracket on one side and is missing the part that the centre stand attaches to.
