Desert X weight
I posted this on the ADV site as well, so maybe redundant for some of you, but for those not on there...
I just put my bike on our calibrated shipping scale at work, minus the foot pegs which are almost identical in weight, it is completely stock. Full of fuel to the rim (8 miles since I got gas this morning) the bike tipped the scales at 492 pounds.

Compare to a BMW GS, she is svelte.Yep she's a pig.
Agreed, they claim 573 as wet weight for the 2017 GSA I had, but I always felt like it was more than that. I figured they weighed it without the crash bars and such.
