DesertX GP/reverse shift

Is it possible to reverse standard shift pattern on DesertX to GP shift (1 up 5 down)? All of my bikes are in GP shift, and don't like using standard shift.

On other bikes I simply reverse the shifter star to make it GP shift, not sure what works on DesertX.
