Nice. I did a short stretch of a road like this the other day. It made me wish I had the crash bars.

Cool! Most of it was pretty slushy and a gravel road.. totally agree on crash bars in case it gets squirrelly. I actually feel mote stable on the DX than my KTM EXC-F, might be due to rider aids. Fun! Were you ever in NorCal with your 916?

I eased down one icy stretch and I could feel the traction control working. It seems way more capable than my last bike (Tiger 800).

I never made it out to NorCal on my 916. Only Colorado.

I almost crashed my 916 on a track day so decided to buy a dedicated race bike (which turned into multiple race bikes). My race number with the local club was 916. Hence, the handle.
