Where in the world do owners of the new Desert X get only 2yrs warranty Unlimited mileage ??
I’m only curious as in the UK it’s warranted for 4yrs unlimited mileage , I’m trying to understand why some countries only have 2yrs cover .
Any response welcomed 👍

My guess at least here in the US is that there are significant numbers or riders that will put on multiple tens of thousands of miles in a year… plus perhaps the farther distance from Bologna and our litigation happy country makes warranty service more expensive?

Ducati website shows the countries where 4Ever Ducati warranty is available: 4 Ever Ducati: 4-year warranty (which is Europe and not US)

Hey @zDesertX welcome to the forum! Thanks for clearing that up with the warranty. Do you have a DesertX or are planning on getting one?

4 years in uk
Australia…..2 years. Go figure.
Yeah, same in the States. If that's not bad enough, Yamaha only offer a 1 year warranty here!
From just a business prospective, offering "more" is a way to sweeten, or increase, the deal, or stated another way, to increase the value of the purchase to the buyer.

I would say in Europe they need to offer more to be competitive in that market, and in the US they do not. No seller is going to give you more than they have to. The warranty was anything but a consideration in my purchase.
