DX sales

Does anyone have any figures yet how many DX have been sold?

I stopped by DucatiOmaha today and they have four on the floor, one was a demo though. I'm not 100% sure but I think mine was the last one they sold, I ordered early '22 and received September '22. So six months and no sales.

I'm always amazed at the turnover this dealer sees, seems every week bikes sale and new/used ones show up.

Let's face it, if Ducati does not sale enough they will stop making them. And that would be sad, it is to good of a bike to fail. In my early 50's always been a gearhead and engineer, I've had my hands all up in 'er, got several thousand miles on it, dealt with the after sales care, servicing and customer service I've seen is truly impressive on top of the great premium product.

I may have a bias because the adv segment is my favorite, however I keep an enduro, two ADV's, and a sport bike along with other four-wheeled items. I really can't see why these aren't flying off the showroom floor. Kind of surprises the 'ell out of me.

They are selling pretty well in the northeast it seems, Hudson Valley Motorcycles has sold 30 some as of early March when I bought mine. I love the bike, the engine is a blast and it handles beautiful.
In my neck of the woods (very rural midwest) the nearest dealer for Ducati (as well as BMW) is 2+ hours away. I suspect that attributes to how few I see locally. The nearest KTM or Triumph is an hour or so, so we see a small handful of those, but we're drowning in Honda/Yamaha/Kawi dealers.

MSRP on Euro bikes tends to be higher as well. If Yamaha could get the T7 out in any real numbers I suspect there'd be a ton of them in my area. I was hoping to hear that the World Raid version would come to the states but got tired of waiting and frankly am glad I made a move on the DesertX...no comparison to a T7 engine.

I think we'll see more sales as the bikes get out and noticed more though. I just happened to stumble onto the DDX when I took my BMW in for a recall, I had never even heard of the bike prior to March of this year.
...., I had never even heard of the bike prior to March of this year.
Then you got a lot of YouTube promotional videos to go through.

I am sure the Yamaha T7 is a great bike like most Yamaha‘s are but not having tubeless tires and no cruise control are a huge negative for me. The Ducati motor is outstanding in this bike, one of the most fun I have owned and I go through them quite rapidly :)

The article has the DX as the third top selling model for ducati, that is comforting news.
