Buffeting. I took the screen off completely and it was much better. On long rides I have to stand up to get some peace and quiet or my head hurts.

The Enduro size screen probably isn't low enough...only inch and change. I need about 4 inches lower. Which puts about at the top of the tft display.

I was surprised to find a full set of handlebar mounts in the box the Zumo XT came in. First I tried directly to the handlebar as pictured. Worked ok. But then I got it to work pretty well using the handlebar clamp bolt. Not sure why I didn't take a pic of that mount. Clamp bolt works much better. I have some parts coming from Ram that might make it even better.

I have installed the BMW garmin with the ducati mount. I have the perum moto too. They are very similar but the perum is much cheaper. The ducati one is welded and perum is mounted. And the ducati comes with a new plastic cover that has some new holes to pass through. Perum one is better option than evotech in my opinion.

So, I ordered the EvoTech Performance mount and got my Garmin Zumo XT mounted. So, MotoPumps sells an attachment so nobody can remove the GPS by the top button but another problem is there are two butterfly screws that hold the GPS in place, someone could unscrew these butterfly screws and cut the power cord and take the GPS...I'm trying to think of something that I can replace one of those butterfly screws so someone can't walk by and remove it. Any suggestions?

So, I found that the butterfly screw (pictured above) is an M5 x 0.8....So, what I did was order a security screw kit off Amazon for the m5 size and also purchased red locktite. I know this is not full proof, but the idea is making it hard to remove the GPS from the mount. Thank you for sending me the link for touratech, I don't want to spend $180 on a kit, plus I highly doubt it can be mounted with the evotech mount.

Update: So, I found another solution for the Evotech Performance GPS mount for the Garmin Zumo XT. Apparently, Ram mount sells this product with multiple stud adapters. One of the theaded stud adapters is the exact same size as the butterfly screw that Evotech uses. So, my plan is to replace one side of the butterfly screws with one of these Ram mounts.

I agree that is a bit expensive, but the unit itself is pretty expensive as well.

Here is mounted directly on the evotech mount:

I'm not sure how the screws will protect the unit itself, since you can push on the top release button and just walk away with the unit.
The Touratech lock holds the unit from the side so you can't remove it from the mount.

I purchased the motopump adapter to solve that issue.
