Hepco-Becker Cut-Out Rack and Mosko Moto

Hello all.

I have the Hepco-Becker Cutout Side rack system coming and would like to use it with soft bags like Mosko Moto's Backcountry panniers. Has anyone done this? If so, what Mosko adapter plate works on exhaust side? Thanks!

I'm about to do the same thing. Another forum member has completed his setup like this. I'll look for the link. MM does make an adapter plate for the BMW GS that takes up the distance to the cutout top bar, leaving a vertical place to mount the Backcountry adapter plate.
I expect to receive my H-B rack in the next few days. The guys at Mosko sent me an e-mail with the offsets that the 2 brackets (LC and OC) are designed for. I will let you know what will work best shortly...

Thanks for the pictures! Glad to see that it can work. Did you need to modify the bracket to get it to fit on the carrier?

I trimmed the mosko bracket to clear the forward most HB bracket. I welded tabs and bolted together. I ride some tough trails and didn't want an issue.Simple mod, you could use hose clamps also if you felt it needed.

Got my H-B rack today. The offset measures 60mm for the exhaust side. The "oil cooled" bracket has an offset of 65mm. The Liquid cooled bracket has an offset of 70mm (per Mosko). What bracket did you buy?
It was one I had from another bike. I think it's the

Awesome. Thanks!
Thanks, Ropeone. Got my racks mounted yesterday and today will work on modifying the adapter plate. In case anyone is wondering, the H&B racks will work with the Perun Moto rear rack by using a thinner spacer. You'll know what I mean if you have both in front of you.
