Kickstand Replacement

Hi all,
It looks like there's a replacement available for the kickstand. It's shorter than what was delivered (for my bike at least) and increases the lean angle quite a bit more.
Enjoy!

Is kick stand replacement covered under the warranty or an option?

It's a recall, the dealer will take care of it. Way, way better with the new one. I was so worried before that the bike will fall.

Hmm. Ducati Japan not providing the kick stand recall according to my dealer. Maybe it’s in the pipeline. Will check. Thanks.

As far as I know, the Asian bikes already came with a lower suspension and shorter side stand from the beginning.

The owners manual explicitly covers the differences in measurement of the "standard" bikes, with the Asian ones being slightly lower.
Having had the original stand, I cannot really imagine how it would not immediately fall over with the lower bikes.

However, the owners manual only explicitly lists China, Korea, Thailand and Taiwan:

By the way, here's the technical service bulletin for the replacement:

Thank you for sending the link to the bulletin. Will look into it. Actually the fist DX's into Japan were the standard height suspension. From 2023, the lower suspension models become the 'standard' with normal suspension being a special order, again according to my dealer.

My dealership just told me my new stand is on its way and will be changed tomorrow under the recall. This is in India.
