Yes, the lightness and nimbleness really surprised me over my first few rides. I was not expecting such a comfortable, sporty ride on road-- I can't get enough of it. The thing absolutely launches at 5500+rpm. I used to think the Africa Twin had underrated power, like for jumping up to highway speed from an on-ramp. But the DDX is in a class by itself.

I am a new owner of a desrt x, come from all multistradas since the first DS1000 in2005 and the latest enduro pro and I couldn’t be happier, it’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for, light, powerfull, agile, great suspension, really In love.
