The kit appears to be nothing more than shorter springs. Most suspension shops can help with that.
No issues for me, maybe you were unlucky with a bad batch both of them?!Had my suspension guy install the lowering springs and super happy. I'm having issues with the lower seat though. The first one that came in wouldn't properly engage. The front post on the seat does not extend enough to catch the latching mechanism on the bike. I returned that seat, got another from Ducati, and have the same issue. Anyone else have troubles here?
I had the same issue. When I measured the flat part of the pin 2.3 mm shorter than the original seat. I talked to the online retailer (pure-ducati) and they sent me another one. The replacement one fits great.Had my suspension guy install the lowering springs and super happy. I'm having issues with the lower seat though. The first one that came in wouldn't properly engage. Both front and the rear springs are same length as the stock ones. The only difference is that there are two spring constants in each spring i.e. two pitch values of the winding. Think of it as progressive spring but with one steps change and instead of continuous linear change. This maintains the full suspension travel, which could be helpful to keep tyre's air-time almost same as before in the off-road situations. With the softer part of the spring, bike's weight alone is enough to compress it (static-sag) little more than the stock ones. How much shorter is the rear shock spring.
