I just wanted to say hi.

sI picked up my Desert X just before the snowstorm. So, I can only look at it and dream, but at least it's home. I'm coming off a 2016 Triumph Tiger 800XC. It was a good bike, but I've missed having a Ducati.

Welcome @tomis916. Congrats on the Desert X!
How many miles have you put on it so far? Planning to get any modifications and/or accessories for it?
I got it with 3 miles and rode it home. So, 48 total miles now.

I ordered the Ducati off-road package and heated grips. Hopefully, they will come in the not too distant future. The dealer (Erico Motorsports) couldn't give any clear timing. Other than that, I'll probably order some soft luggage (Mosko, maybe?). I've had hard bags in the past, but I'm thinking of changing.

Also, maybe a GPS set-up. I have a Garmin Zumo 590. It wants to recalculate routes anytime you are off-road and off the track. I think they fixed that with the Zumo XT. If anyone has advice on that, I'll take it.

I'm going for the garmin montana 700i supposed to work well off road
Congrats on the DX! I have a Garmin 700i. It's a great unit for offroad. Lots of features you'll find valuable. I've yet to try it on road as I pretty know my way around once out of the mountains. I am curious to see how it works.

Concerning the xt, I also mounted it above the original display with an Evotech performance bracket/mount.
