Hi All,

I went shopping for a KTM 890r and got extremely lucky and got the Desert X! Was not on my radar simply because i was not on a waiting list and did not even know they were being delivered.

What a bike! Im coming from a 19 DCT AT and the handling and motor are night and day. Will be putting on the off-road kit this week and probably heated grips.

This is my first Ducati riding mostly Honda and BMW.Looking forward to getting the break in mileage completed and then finding myself so e double-track. Cheers, Mike

Did you get any accessories and/or modifications for it yet or plan to?

So my dealer has the skid plate and engine bars in stock. Im hoping to get the hand guards and heated grip module. Apparently there is a tech pack to unlock the bluetooth integration with phones so look i to that as well.

No cool pics yet unless you count the stupid grin picking it up photo.🤣

A little ride on some dirt roads today in the foothills of northern Colorado. Spent day in enduro mode giving it the goose around corners. Grin factor high!!!!
