Just picked up my DDX very happy with it so far
I was told they fixed the fork protection on all the 2023 models (not just the black one), as shown in this pic here:

long time Ducati owner 16 years now just sold my 06 ST3 and still have my 04 Multi I just like the versatility the DX offers and cruise control ain’t so bad either 😉

All are 2023's in North America. Only the black ones have those for protection. The white fender is of a different mold without provisions for the fork protectors. There might be a few 2022's in Europe but by the time ducati got around to shipping the orders to the states it was 2023 model year, and it's not time for 2024's yet.

2023 bikes produced in 2023 have the fork protectors. I have one due in anytime.
