Don't do Facebook but I do have the aux tank and the prerun rack ordered. Looks to me like it should fit, at most a little trimming of the bracket near the bolt mounting area might be needed.

Yeah he shaved the inner piece down 7mm & shortened the bolts as well.

If I had to do it over again, i would have gone with your setup. I got crazy and got the factory panniers and top case and off road kit, which I regret. I might have gone with your setup and the sw motech crash bars and engine guard.

Sell the items you don't want, PITA I know but those items are not cheap, then obtain what you want. This hobby is a work in progress.

Thanks guys, found the FB post and ordered the rack. Just need to find someone locally to trim the 7mm off the brackets and bolts.

Why didn't you go with a Nomad-adventure rear rack? Looks like a direct fit with the DDX auxiliary tanks.

I guess we all have to try different ways.... I assume the Nomad install will be your next video.

I do not really like the Nomad offering. The rear rack slots are diagonal to what the Mosko moto reckless system needs, it will wear out the rear straps quicker than they should. Also, not liking the straight side rack on the exhaust side, with the bent rack on the other side. Ordered the factory soft bag racks, as they are currently available, may swap out to the Adventure Spec side racks if they ever build them.

That would be good. I've received mine and held it in place. The provided spacer should not be used and the brackets bent in an offset, then all should be well. The offset should be between the two mounting points and be the amount of the spacer.

Here is where I plan to make the bends.

Nope. And those of us that run an aux tank are not going to have an overloaded top box, or any top box, anyway.

Carrying weight up high is adverse to good handling, and running around the urban environment there are fuel stations galore. Each to his own.

But crossing Labrador there are limited fuel options. I guess you are not much of an adventure motorcyclist if the first thing you think of is delivering pizzas.
