Power socket below the seat

I was advised by my dealer to use the power socket under the seat to connect up a Quadlock wireless phone charger.

My question is whether this socket is isolated when the ignition is turned off?

I have already had a flat battery after 10 days with the tracker connected and now keep the bike plugged in with the Ducati battery charger. But I dont want to, or wont be able to, do this on tour.

Many thanks

yes - the undersea power socket is switched (isolated when the ignition is off)

I’ve had my quadlock wireless charger connected to the front usb charger for months now and have never had an issue.

Same setup but I always unplug when parked. Also ran a two-port USB + USB-C from the DIN under the seat and attached to right side of screen for Garmin (when needed).
Brilliant, thanks all

how did you "connect"to the socket?
thanks
I bought a TecMate SAE To 90° DIN Adapter Cable and cut the SAE end off of it. Once plugged in you can find the hot wire with a multimeter....
