Hello all! New to the forum, just picked up my Desert X in Idaho yesterday.

Something that seems odd with my bikes rear shock though, it moves significantly side to side.
Wondering if your bikes do this and is it normal?

If I am applying light pressure to the preload adjuster, the entire shock will move side to side see video - Rear shock movement

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

No, mine does not move at all.

Neither does mine. But the dealer did tell me that Ducati has a part to cover those two holes. It's $17 but I haven't picked it up yet.

Weird. On the posted the same thing on the desert x Facebook group and everyone there has a shock that moves.
