Rear wheel balance

Did anyone notice if their Desert X has wheel weights on the back wheel? Mine does have a few right near the valve stem which seems odd and before I remove it and balance it I thought I would ask. On my dual sports I found 2 grams opposite of the rim locks / valve stem did the trick. I may try 1.5 / 2 grams and take it for a spin, can’t hurt.
