Single track with the Desert X

I finally grew some balls and took the DDX to my favorite enduro place, McCain Valley, which is about an hour East of San Diego, California.
McCain Valley has hundreds of miles of all sorts of single track. My friends were gentle enough to pick the more "flowy" trails and skip the hard enduro technical ones.
I simply loved the experience and I'm even more confident on the bike's capability.

Wow, congrats man. You hit some seriously technical stuff there and I'm overjoyed to see the DDX getting through-- super nicely done!!!!!

Great vid and great skills! I was just down in Death Valley and Jawbone Canyon last weekend and I thought I was going through some technical gnar. Yours was over the top! Great job!

You and the DDX performed as well as can be reasonably expected in such conditions. Great job.

What were your settings? (Enduro, Rally...) did you modify any of the settings? (DTC, etc). I am dialing in my DDX. Added crashbars, skid plate, barkbusters and Motoz tires. Now moving on to electronic and suspension set up. I have similar technical trails (but tighter with more mud too) in the North East where I live.

Also, I am looking to ad Rekluse clutch if you or others have insight on the matter...

OEM Enduro - I very rarely use Rally.
I've used the manual suggestion for off-road suspension clicks.

I have several dirt bikes, and I had rekluse in one of them. I think with time I'd get used to it, but I preferred to get rid of it so all bikes behave similarly on clutch/throttle control.

Which MotoZ's did you go with front/rear? On my Multistrada V4S I have the Tractionator Adventure on the rear, and the RallZ on the front. I really like how they hook up off-road, but I get a pretty severe on road front end wobble at about 85-90+ mph. Wondering how they perform at those speeds on the DDX.
BTW I subsribed to your you tube channel. You seem to be the only channel using DDX for offroad to the extent you are other than that guy on MAD TV that took the DDX across Austrailia. Good stuff. cheers

Thanks!

There's also that guy Antoine Meo (I think he's French) that just got second at Bassella Race1, right behind Pol Tarrés.

Stay tuned, I'm getting ready for Southern California BDR end of March!

RallZ both wheels. It does have a tendency to wobble at high speeds, especially when you go over asphalt grooves. My Multi V4S does the same (actually a bit worse) when I installed the Kenda big blocks. It's much better with the Ohlin's adjustable bar stabilizer.
RallyZ both wheels. I stay to back and offroads so wobble is not an issue. Also the bike only has 500miles, just got it and replaces a 2015 BMW f800GS. I will be taking the DDX on the NEBDR later this spring

HI Padu
Where did you source the Ohlins bar stabilizer?
