Has anybody looked at and heard in person options for slip on exhausts?

I can't afford the full exhaust system termi and the slip on version is really expensive.

Here are the options I have found

1. SC Project
2. Arrow

Hey @DESERTXATL. Did you already take delivery of your Desert X? Would love to see pics if you did!
Haven't heard the SC Project exhaust in person as yet but there is this video of it:

I preordered mine back in December...December 9 to be exact from Ducati Omaha. I just picked it up two weeks ago...Overall, I have been very happy with the bike but I can't take it off-road until my off-road kit arrives....The only thing I have been disappointed with is the accessories...Nothing is in stock right now....Everything is delayed and backordered...
I ordered a slip on exhaust from Shift Tech - ST788-10 SHIFT-TECH TITANIUM SLIPON. Should be shipping in the next couple of weeks. Here is a video of a desert x using the shift tech exhaust:
I've already installed their cat delete pipe and the bike already sounds so much better!

Very interesting shift tech state you require no re- mapping for the decat solution , but if it works then it works without the fuelling running way to lean and burning valves out 👍
your video clip doesn’t work unfortunately but I’m sure it’s available elsewhere.

You can watch the video on YouTube. Nice sound and fun trip on the Dragon!
Did you end up purchasing an exhaust? If so, what’d you decide? IMO the SC-project looks interesting as an alternative to the super pricey Termi options.

I didn't because I purchased the aluminum panniers and top case kit. I also preordered the off road pack too, so I've been spending a lot of money.... regardless, i got some discounts sent my way for the full exhaust ($2,600). So, there's probably a massive profit margin with that full exhaust kit. I definitely want a little more power on road..I'm holding off..

Did you get the discounts from a dealer? Installation cost on top of the already outrageous price for the full system makes it very hard to swallow.

Yes. So, after 5-6 hrs of labor at $140/hr... The price jumps back up to $3500 out the door. It's expensive but not insane like the pipes for the V4..i hear ppl spending $7k on an exhaust system... Rather spend that on track days and California racing school.
Hi was looking at the arrows exhaust and decat pipes, look ok, €600, all in, you would need someone to fit a map for it
HI
EXANE EXHAUST will come with an new exhaust in december.

I tried the expensive Termignoni with E5 - and gave it just right back to my dealer. Heavy like the org ohne and my X had a pretty loss of torque betwenn 4000 and 6000rpm. Ducati and/or Termignoni won‘t come with a proper map (after official request). That‘s really disapointing…. (I like my Termignoni on my old Hypermotard Evo Sp) especially when you look at pricing strategy.

Anybody experience with the sc project? I think abaout an exhaust from aftermarket and a remapping.
Greets from switzerland
Martin
I got the shift tech titanium and couldn't be happier with it. I got the slip on and cat delete as well. Easy to install and I didn't do any remapping. Bike runs fine.

MIVV from Italy has a decat Pipe and Silencer. the Decat Pipe is "cheap" and can be used with the stock exhaust.
HPCorse from Italy also has a decat Pipe with standard Diameter and also have Silencers ...

I've used HP COURSE exhaust on my old superduke 990 and was impressed, I'll be getting hp course again for the desert x or a Austin racing exhaust system as I've used them on a couple of my old BMW s1000rr bikes and quality are excellent ...
