Today was a day of small things…finishing up EVOTECH tail tidy, adjusting shifter up to clear my boot, & installing Ducati throttle spacer.
Went out for a test ride & to break in the new boots & man she rips! WRS enduro wind screen & ear plugs is so much better for me at 5’10”. Buffeting gone and wind noise is very minimal. Throttle spacer got rid of the initial play & makes a noticeable difference. Tail tidy cleans up the back but the mounting for US plates is a bit funky & they want you to drill holes in your plate to attach reflector. I used zip ties & only put it on as it covers the bottom part of the triangular piece. Quick shifter was not affected by raising the lever.
Now that it is running like it should I can focus on the suspension. Hats off to the tuning Ducati did in this motor! It runs so much better than the version in my Hyper 939SP ever did even with the full Termi & a tune & airbox lid & filter. Just really pulls hard from 5,000 to 9,000 RPM’s & not flat spots anywhere. Happy to chug around at 3,000 RPM’s too.

Do you think that windscreen is less noisy than the stock one? I don't have buffeting but the wind noise is loud at highway speed.

I modified my DDX by the WRS Touring Screen: up to 100km/h wind noise is lower, between 110-130km/h it is more or less the same , at more than 130km/h the turbulences are not acceptable and need a additional spoiler at the top - I´m just exploring about a solution...

Thanks!!!!
5 min install & no need to take handguard off. Just loosen it up a bit so you can slide throttle tube/grip out of the way & install it.

The throttle spacer was an excellent addition. Really tightened up the slop. I found it beneficial on my Tiger 900 RP too.
