Also one with a quick throttle blip. I cannot recommend this exhaust & decat enough. Completely different bike…stock was so quiet & throttle response was terrible even though I already had the Termi map loaded. The cat/muffler absolutely strangler this motor & ruin the fun! This thing pulls so nice now. Much better than my 2017 939SP that had a different version of the same motor. Ducati has done a brilliant job but the EPA puts a cork in it. Here’s a quick clip of the 939SP with a true full system, open airbox lid, Sprint filter & Termi Upmap. The tune on the Desert X was s much better down low & in the midrange. The Hyper had a big flat spot at 5,000 RPM & did not pull hard into 7,000 RPM. Desert X with all it’s heft just feels stronger below 8,000…color me impressed.IMG 3321

I haven't had mine installed yet-- noob question here: how easy/annoying/hard is it to get the baffle on/off? For most of my riding I'll probably have it off, but there are a few towns and small cities across the boarder here that are known to give tickets for dB's, so if it's pretty easy I'd probably put it on for those rides.

Held in place with a 4mm Allen screw. Less than a minute to insert or remove.

Absolutely. Here’s what is sounds like with the baffle in…I think I like it better as it still rips and below 7,000 it’s nice & quiet so I do not draw unwanted attention.Desert X full Termignoni exhaust with baffle in sound clip.
