My name is Rob and live in the Netherlands,
I drove some Honda's, 4 BMW GS and my last bike is Ducati Multistrada enduro 1260.
But last week ordered the Dessert X (dark grey/red colored) which hopefully will arrive in time for my planned holiday to Spain in coming April. I look forward to read your expereinces with this bike.

Spain is a fantastic place to travel with your bike. April maybe rainy weather but this year is a dry one so maybe you are lucky. If yo travel to the south I can give you some nice tracks on and offroad

I did several trips in Spain like through the Pyrenees, North West of Spain, Andalucía. One of the most beautiful countries to travel.
We did mainly on-road travelling. My test drive with the Desert X showed fabulous on road capabilities.
But offroad becomes more feasible with the Desert X than the present Multistrada Enduro.
We now have planned a trip from Madrid, Going West, Extramadura, than more South etc.
