So as many others I was not thrilled with the Ducati OEM top case & rack. To me the rack was way too big & the price of the Ducati branded Givi Monokey case was over $600 with a discount & they wanted $125 for a stick on pad. Add in the $400 for the rack & it’s absurd.

I instead chose a Perun Moto rack, bought a Givi Trekker Alaska 44l Monokey case online, & then bought the grommets, pyramid & mushroom pieces from Tour & Ride. Went to the hardware store for 4 stainless bolts, 6 stainless washers & 2 locknuts & 10 min later top case was mounted.

I am under $500 including a legit bolt on back pad for my daughter & could not be happier!

Perun Moto is amazing & he has all the instructions on his page. I also like the fact that their rack, with a very minor modification, will allow me to run the auxiliary fuel tank if I decide I need it down the road.

I love and hate my top case and the main reason for the hate is the bike rides differently on the highway with the top case. I used my top case on some ohv trails and it worked great, even after dropping the bike. By the way, the mounting looks so much better than my OEM version. The hardware of both top case and panniers kills the look.
