Whats up with the plugged tube coming out of the right side under the tank? - seems like a fuel hose maybe for the auxiliary tank? shows up in some photos not in others. plug seems like a shipping piece, not factory equipment... ? any ideas....?

I was "told" by the dealership it has to do with the AUX tank. Don't know how it connects up but thats what they said
Thank you bart! Thats what I figured, but glad to know for sure!
Interesting that some pictures show the vent and other don't have it or maybe it's tucked away..??

- Following the question some weeks ago, for information about the component (1) shown in the following picture, I would like to inform you that this is the canister expansion pipe (1) which connects with the canister
breather pipe (2) and the fuel tank breather pipe (3) through a Y-shaped connector.
The canister expansion pipe (1) was designed to collect any liquid to avoid saturating the canister and
promote its evaporation.
Note The plug at the end of the canister expansion pipe (1) must NEVER BE REMOVED."

Thank you @SU27 !
Edit:
after looking at the plug on my bike, the sales guy simply twisted off the little tab to make it more difficult to pull out. I asked him about it and he said several purchasers had removed it thinking it was a shipping plug of some sort so they started making it more difficult.
