Great list, thanks! Two things I have seen discussed on the forum which are needed but unavailable, as far as I know: a stiffer rear spring, and an aftermarket adjustable shift lever. Anyone know of sources? Vendors, are you working on anything?
I'm a couple months out from starting suspension work with a shop here in Oregon, will involve a re-spring. If I get part numbers I'll drop them in the forum.

For the shift lever, adjustable in which dimension? Length? or looking for more adjustability than taking a few turns out of the linkage and switching the hole it's attached to on the lever?

Pro Brake has a few lever options that are supposed to fit…have a set of their short levers non folding coming tomorrow…will post up after install.

You have my attention. I already bent one of my levers riding around before I got the HDB hand guards installed. Tried ordering a set of CRGs but they didn't quite fit right.

Thanks on the spring. Shifter adjustability should be primarily up/down, but length would also be good. Big feet and enduro/adv boots require more room, even using the second hole and shortening the linkage all the way. Can't move splines due to hitting the case.

Ah, yeah, my boot juuuuuuust fits. I'm looking at getting either the Vanache or Black Dog foot pegs, they lower the platform my 1/4" and 1/2" respectively, might be worth considering to get a little more space.

On-topic wise, I'm looking for a case saver to go around the front sprocket. Partly to get rid of the plastic cover for mud clearance, partly because a guy I know in IG took a good hit to the rear sprocket while off roading and threw the chain. It kinked up and cracked his case forward of the front sprocket.

Footpegs on order for 6 weeks or so at Black Dog. They said mid-April so any day now....had them on my 1190; game changer.

I actually ordered the Camel ADV Axle Wrench instead. Due to it being completely flat it is easier to stow for me.
Works good enough. Here's their YouTube video showing it off.
Yeah looks like the Eastbound kit will be more useful on & off the bike for me as I can use it on my Hypermotard as well & price is great for what you get imho.

Hi all,

Just an idea here would be good to have a section in the forum listing all the brands creating accessories for the desert x?

what do you think?

this could serve as inspiration for people searching for upgrades and also allowing some to discover things they didn't know existed.

thanks @Mr. K for this awesome list!
came across Thork Racing when desperately trying to find tank guards ahead of a rally in a couple weeks. They seemed like nice guys when I called them and I like their designs. Their radiator guard looks great and what a radiator guard should look like for a dirt bike IMHO.

Just heard from Camel ADV about their skid plate and they only would say they were getting closer to having it available, but no date.

Also, Kriega said they were working on an OS Base for the DX, but they were hoping to have it in time for the ABR festival this summer.
